Honestly the best Chinese in the Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire area. We live in Stonehaven and will travel to have Chinese from here. I refuse to have from anywhere else now! The only moan i will have is that they deliver to Portlethen but not stonehaven, sometimes get delivered to my friends house but there moving soon so will be having less Chinese

A first time visit to Mr Laws for me , Sunday 24th July 2022 at 16:45pm . Parking is a night mare if visiting by car though worth finding a space that’s available and walking to the takeaway . Inside is compact though there is seating available if you may have to wait for your order. There is a menu taped to the back of the cash till , prices scored out with new handwritten prices evident, I found it difficult to read it would be better to have a menu in the window so potential customers can read at their leisure without worrying about holding up other waiting customers etc. A friendly smiling lady welcomed me saying hello and asked for my order , “Chicken curry with fried rice please” I replied , my order cost £9.80. Five minutes later I was on my way with my food , it was piping hot . Photos are of the order I received , curry had plenty of chicken chunks and onion slices , sauce was perfect for me , probably one of the best I have had , fried rice was fresh , together they tasted great and for me as a chicken curry fried rice fan I can honestly say it was one of the best I’ve had from any of the takeaways I have been to in Aberdeen over the years . Summary Parking a pain £9:80 cost is a bit more than I usually pay though meal was worth every penny . Menu should be clearer and displayed in a more accessible place . Service is quick. Friendly welcome and cheery counter staff. Food was very good , ticked all the boxes for me . Plenty of chicken chunks , onions and a great sauce . I will definitely be visiting Mr Laws again.
